get to know apoorva x

1. tell us about yourself!

I am a full-time nature and animal lover. I specialise in sound bowl healing & guided meditation with training in traditional hatha yoga &  yoga anatomy. I believe in getting down to the detail and in the power of breath. I see yoga as being equally or even more about the mind than the body and am a self-proclaimed advocate for mental health.
 
practising yoga for 15 years and teaching for 6, I created initiatives like yoga in the park to provide platform introducing a healthy lifestyle in singapore. I was also featured on new zealand television leading my own yoga show during the pandemic. 

 

2. what do you teach here at ahimsa & how would you describe your teaching style?

I teach gentle flow & strong at ahimsa. I teach yoga with the sole purpose to help people feel good in their bodies and minds. to help them find an ease in life. I create a warm, healing and inclusive environment in my classes where I work with the limitations & strengths of each individual.
