1. tell us about yourself!
Hi I am alister! I was a corporate consultant before I decided to pursue my life dreams. one of it included deepening my yoga practice and offering my learnings as a teacher. I started yoga when I was 18 by accident and fell in love with the practice ever since. I finally felt the call to do my yoga teacher training and teach this year :)
2. what do you teach here at ahimsa & how would you describe your teaching style?
I teach gentle flow, ahimsa flow and strong classes! I think my classes are relatively stronger, without compromising the practice of bringing inner awareness of mind breath and body throughout the class
3. what is your favourite food at ahimsa?the nourish bowl but tbh the icing on the cake in the bowl is the magic mushrooms 🤭
4. what is your favourite song right now?die with a smile by bruno mars and lady gaga 🥹

1. Tell us about yourself!
Hiya, you can call me kat :) my yoga journey started as a means of grounding and recentering amidst the hustle and bustle of life, but over time, it’s become a practice of returning home to myself — through body, breath, and awareness.
Beyond yoga, I enjoy exploring all things heart, body, mind and spirit. really just connecting and creating alignment from within so that I can live more consciously and intentionally. you’ll also find me facilitating experiential learning activities, or meaningful conversations. my latest love is human design - a tool for personal empowerment and inner alignment. if you’re curious to find out more, have a chat with me!
2. What do you teach here at ahimsa & how would you describe your teaching style?
Currently… gentle flow, ahimsa flow and breathe & restore!
I like to keep things slow and conscious, focusing on breath and alignment cues to help you get (re)connected within. (though I speed it up when there’s a good reason to!) I also believe the energy I bring sets the tone, so I do my best to show up present, grounded and calm so that I can hold a safe space for your personal practise.
3. What is your favourite food at ahimsa?
Ahhh it’s so hard to answer this question!! there’s so much I love. but if I have to name a few… tomato dipper, what the guac, sassy me, along with any acai and smoothie bowls ❤️
4. What is your favourite class to attend at ahimsa?
Hmm I actually don’t have a favourite because I choose classes based on what I feel I need that day. ahimsa flow when I’m feeling good and want to move, gentle flow when I’m feeling a little heavy or tired and need something softer, and breathe & restore when I’m in need of conscious rest. I appreciate how there’s always something for every version of me :)
5. What animal best represents you?
My friends have described me as a chipmunk when I’m eating… but, I’d say a cat, or even a red panda - generally mellow and calm, but kinda quirky once you get to know me.

1. Tell us about yourself!
I’m a yoga and breathwork facilitator creating spaces to feel at home in your body. through movement and breath, I guide others back to their strength and softness.
2. What do you teach here at ahimsa & how would you describe your teaching style? At ahimsa I teach embodied strength and breathe & restore sessions. my style is intuitive yet structured, grounding yet fluid. I love combining functional strength, conscious breath and moments of deep rest, so students leave feeling both energised and nourished.
With guided meditation and pranayama, I hope to share the teachings and philosophies that help me on my own journey.
3. What is your favourite food at ahimsa?
Sassyme & tex mex are my go-to, and I never say no to their delicious wellness shots :)
4. What is your favourite class to attend at ahimsa?
As I also teach outside the studio, I don’t often get the chance to join other classes here but I truly love the energy of the space and community.
5. What animal best represents you?I was born in the year of the horse, which perfectly reflects my love for movement, freedom and inner fire.
